Tim Fisher Leisure Painter Author and Editorial Consultant

Tim has been writing articles for the Leisure Painter magazine for nearly 20 years and in October 2019 was welcomed to the Leisure Painter editorial panel.
This is made up of experienced professional artists, who advise the editorial team on all technical aspects of painting and drawing. They offer support and guidance on new directions and ideas for the magazine.

Tim has been teaching Leisure Painter readers to draw and paint successfully for many years, using a wide range of media, styles and techniques.

His most recent 6 month series ran from July 2021 to November 2021. This covered all aspects of painting with a painting knife, there is so much freedom painting in this style.
Many people have recently enjoyed the Bob Ross re runs on television, seeing a picture created in just 30 minutes and making this style of painting popular.

Tim also works with the Leisure Painter and the Artist magazine at the highly popular Patchings Art and Crafts Festival.
He spends the Sunday of the festival in their marquee painting in different mediums for five, free demonstrations.
